Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Belonging
A discussion of Gen Z in the Workplace
A lesser discussed topic under diversity and inclusion is the question of different generations in the workplace, Boomers, Millennials, and now, Gen Z.
Boomers forged the working world as we know it, Millennials shaped a different way of working with technology – and now we have the new kid on the block, Gen Z.
Managing this aspect of diversity is as important as any of the other topics that usually make their way onto the discussion platform when it comes to DEI.
We will cover how generations in the workplace affect the conversation around diversity, inclusion, and most importantly, belonging.
Did you know?
- Gen Z is the most likely generation to be sceptical of the introduction of AI in the workplace.
- This generation more positive about their working environment than their predecessors are likely to be.
- However, Gen Z is also most affected by, and have more information about mental health and its effect on work and the working environment.
How can organisations truly include this Generation that is full of ideas and positive about the workplace?
Let's discuss what flexibility is, without always having to ask for permission, and what does belonging mean to Gen Z?
Join Samkelo Blom and Marleen Potgieter, both diversity experts, on a discussion about this fascinating and not often covered topic.
