EE Barriers Analysis Webinar

If you haven’t done your barriers analysis yet, best get cracking, there is not much time before you must report!

Thursday 10th November 2022 – 11:00 AM

Section 19 of the Employment Equity Act, 55 of 1998 requires a barriers analysis to be conducted. This is a compulsory step and must be done in line with good practice as suggested in the Code of Good Practice on aligning your HR processes with the Employment Equity process. The results of this process must be summarised in your EEA12 Form, which must be in place for you to be able to report.

This webinar will outline a process that takes into consideration the time left to do this properly. The DoEL will not believe you, if you tick “No” in all the boxes in form 9 of EEA2 online report, and you are likely to attract attention in the form of an inspection or even a DG Review.

Join Marleen Potgieter to understand how to:

  • Ensure that your process is in line with the law
  • Align the barriers analysis results with your overall transformation objectives
  • Choose the best process for your environment, given the deadline for your report is looming
  • Understand completion of all the required forms, the EEA12, EEA13 and the EEA2
  • Effectively consult with the EE Forum, to workshop results from any analysis you have conducted
  • Make sure you have good sound affirmative action measures in place
  • Update all your internal documentation, before you report.
