Recently published EE Regulations
Anticipated amended Regulations published by the DEL on 1 February 2024 for comment.
How do they differ from the May 2023 Regulations and what must we know about Sector and Industry goals and targets to plan for our EE Process this year?
There are key differences between the Regulations of 1 February 2024 and the May 2023 Regulations.
The DEL provides guidelines on EAP figures to be used by companies in setting their goals and targets.
These changes must be incorporated into your EEA13 plans and the ultimate report at the end of the year.
“Affirmative action measures” incorporating the Solidarity agreement signed with the Department of Employment and Labour (DEL), on the 28th June 2023 are to be implemented.
Any comments must be submitted to the DEL by the 2nd May 2024.
Join us for a webinar at 11h00 on the 14th March 2024, where we discuss the above topics and explore what to do, to implement the new Regulations.
The questions we will explore are:
- What do we do with our current EE Plans, if they expire now, in September 2024?
- What are the key points from the Solidarity Agreement with the DEL and how would we take these into consideration?
- Are the proposed goals and targets finalised, and should we take them into consideration in both our EE Plans and Reports?
- How do we make sure we are ready for the reporting deadline on the 15th January 2025?
We will do our best to answer all of your questions around the current uncertain EE landscape and help you with a suggested roadmap to navigate the way, and be prepared to have all your compliance steps in place.
