2 Day Workshop
HOW TO GET YOUR PEOPLE TO WORK FOR YOU
In our research on good management skills relating to people, we have found that performance management is a neglected and poorly developed area. Supervisors and managers are appointed with little training, and once appointed; they also receive very little support.
We touch on modern trends in the performance management of people – taking elements of the balanced score-card approach, performance management through coaching and what to do when things go wrong with performance. Our course starts with basic knowledge of managing discipline and incapacity and applies the Code of Good Practice (Schedule 8 of the Labour Relations Act, Act 66 of 1995). Both are stand-alone modules and may be held together or with the option of only choosing one of the modules.
